Rose Wool Belly Blanket – Made to Order

The Rose Wool Belly Blanket – Made to Order is made from natural wool which is really cosy. They were inspired by the maker’s need for comfort, holding and warmth. Belly Blankets can be supportive with physical pain or cramping and are designed to give a holding quality to cherish and soothe the core of the body. This is very recognised in ancient healing modalities, where keeping the kidneys and internal organs warm and cosy promotes health and longevity.

The Wraps are very cosy and once you’re wearing one you won’t want to take it off! Many people use them when their back is ‘playing up’ as it provides a feeling of extra holding and support when they feel vulnerable and physically delicate. Similarly, they can be supportive if feeling emotionally delicate. There is a small pocket at the back for prayers or intentions or any small thing you wish to carry. It can be also used for a small hot water bottle to warm the kidney and back area. A hot water bottle could be used at the front by pushing it into the wrap when wearing it if there is cramping or menstrual pain. They are not limited to winter wear, they can be worn all year round especially here in the UK! A lot depends on the climate. Please see for how to wrap your belly blanket!

This one is made from boiled wool.

They were previously called womb wraps but now recognise in their name that men like to wear them as well.
